My Service
There is no pain greater than grief. Kindred Ceremonies is here to help guide you through this difficult day, and to create a ceremony which will honour and pay homage to your loved one. We can include readings and rituals, religious or non-religious, and the ceremony can be as complex or as simple as you want. A funeral ceremony is a time to acknowledge and process the loss of a loved one, and to embrace the grief you feel. It is also a day to celebrate the life that was lived, and the beauty that life represents.
The
Journey
We will begin with a phone call to touch base, and to answer any questions you may have. We can then arrange a suitable time and place to meet up. It is when we meet up that we will talk about the deceased. I want to know as much as you feel comfortable telling me, and it is at this meeting that we can decide how the funeral will be. I will then go home and write the script and send it to you via email. You can edit anything you want, and we will re-draft it until you decided it is finished. I will liaise with your funeral director and send them the script too, and then meet you on the day to officiate the ceremony.
Rituals
It is your choice what to include in the ceremony. As well as the eulogy, you can include readings, songs and rituals. I am experienced in a variety of rituals including Candle Lighting, Flower Blessings and Heart Cards, and we can include anything you want, religious or non-religious.
Scripts
The script is the order and content of the service from the beginning to the end. It is broken down into sections, so you know exactly what to expect on the day, and will include any readings, music, rituals or prayers you choose. I will aim to send you a copy within 48 hours of meeting you, so we can finalise end edit things ready for the day. I will also liaise with the funeral director and send a copy of the script to them too.

I want the funeral ceremony to embody and reflect the spirit and personality of your loved one. Together we can figure out exactly how the ceremony should be, so you can proudly lay your loved one to rest with honour and respect.
